When AKIRA was being serialized and the movie was released, it seemed like a distant future, but that future is now our everyday reality.

A member of Kaneda's bike gang. He confronts the awakened Tetsuo but is brutally murdered.
● Kei: A member of the
guerrilla organization. She acts together with Kaneda, whom she meets by chance, and later confronts Tetsuo.
